Committee Objectives

1. The Asset Managers Committee serves as a voice for asset manager members of the Insured Retirement Institute. The committee works collaboratively with Distributor and Insurer members to strengthen and expand the overall health of the insured retirement industry.
2. Provides thought leadership and guidance to the IRI Board of Directors, membership and staff, from the asset manager perspective, in the development and expansion of the association and the insured retirement industry.

Current Working Groups

1. Intellectual Capital Subcommittee
2. Capital Markets Subcommittee

Each subcommittee is currently working to identify and supply IRI with intellectual capital for the Members Only Website and provide a new quarterly resource to the IRI financial advisor community.

Committee Meetings

1. In person: During the Annual Meeting and the Marketing Conference.
2. Conference calls: Semi-monthly as needed.

Committee Participation

The committee is composed of Asset Managers from IRI’s membership and currently includes individuals from 15 firms.

How Do I Join?

You must be a member of the Insured Retirement Institute from an asset manager firm to participate. Complete this form to be added to this committee.
