Working to Strengthen Membership and Member Value

Committee Objectives

1. To advise and assist the Insured Retirement Institute Board of Directors and staff in the development and expansion of its membership base, and in member outreach that will enable the association to meet its goals and objectives as set forth by the IRI board.
2. To identify the value provided by IRI and to communicate it to members and prospective members.

Committee Initiatives

1. Identify member needs and report finding to the IRI board.
2. Make recommendations to other committees to meet identified member needs.
3. Provide communication to members and prospective members around the value provided by IRI.
4. Make recommendations on membership composition and dues schedule.
5. New member recruitment.

Committee Meetings

1. In person: During the Annual Meeting and the Marketing Conference.
2. Conference calls: Semi-monthly.
