IRI mailed copies of the nonpartisan August Recess Packet to communications staffers across Capitol Hill. 

The packet includes a sample op-ed and sample press release alerting constituents that Social Security isn’t enough for retirement and that they must begin to save now for their futures. Every office also received text for their home pages along with a link to IRI's numerous retirement calculators.  These are free tools to determine how much a person needs to save for retirement and the various vehicles to ensure they insure their retirements with the right strategies.
