Pete learned the insurance business early in his career as a John Hancock Agent and honed his finance, contract, and project management skills with a short stint at Lockheed Martin. He has spent the bulk of his career at Bank of America, where he built and implemented new investment, annuity and life insurance products and cross channel delivery strategies; managed carrier relationships; led data analytics, finance and actuarial support for the consumer debt cancellation, life and P&C insurance groups; and played a lead role in the divestiture and transition of Bank of America’s mass market life and P&C businesses. With more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Pete has a thorough understanding of insurance and annuity solutions and the benefits they deliver to clients. From 2013 2015, he managed the Strategic Projects and Operations team within the Life Insurance organization consisting of program management for key initiatives, reporting and analytics, and day to day operational oversight of the business model, including vendor management . Pete served as the Director for Wells Fargo Advisors’ Life Insurance business until June 2021 and is presently the Director of Insurance and Annuity Services for Wells Fargo’s Wealth and Investment Management organization.

A Roanoke, Virginia native, Pete earned a BA from Roanoke College and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Virginia Tech. He has completed the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation, has earned the Certified Project Management Professional designation (PMP®), Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Six Sigma Greenbelt designations, and was granted patents for two of the retirement income products he developed for Bank of America while part of the Merrill Lynch Product Development organization.

Pete currently resides in Charlotte and manages the Insurance and Annuity Services business with team members located in St. Louis, Minneapolis, and Charlotte.
