Barbara Dare serves as Vice President of Sales Strategy and Enablement for the Consumer Markets Division. She is responsible for driving sales performance and developing strategic plans for sales enablement. Her organization includes the life and annuity internals sales teams, sales training and enablement, sales intelligence, the advanced markets teams, and the advisory sales enablement function.

Barbara has nearly 30 years of industry experience, 15 of those years leading supporting insurance and annuity wholesaling teams. Barbara also served 3 years as the CEO of Pacific Select Distributors with her term ending in early 2025. Before that, she spent time at Global Atlantic, Great-West Financial and MetLife.
Barbara graduated from the University of Florida with an MBA and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, and 63 designations.

She resides in North Carolina and is a mother of 3 daughters and one son. She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren and at the beaches or mountains of the Carolinas.
