Steering Committee: a permanent group of select member company representatives that is charged with establishing the priorities and overseeing work in a general functional area
Committee: a permanent group of member company representatives that is charged with developing the positions and strategies with respect to a particular segment within a general functional area
Subcommittee: a permanent or temporary group of member company representatives formed by and reporting up to a committee that is charged with guiding and managing work on a specific area of focus
Working Group: a temporary group of member company representatives formed by and reporting up to any other group on an as-needed basis that is charged with guiding and managing work on specific issues that require more extensive engagement among IRI members and staff
Chair: a single individual charged with leading a particular group
Vice Chair: a single individual charged with supporting the chair and leading the group in the chair's absence
Co-Chairs: two individuals charged with jointly leading a particular group
