As executive vice president and chief operating officer at Brighthouse Financial, Myles Lambert oversees the company’s internal and external wholesaling organizations, digital and alternative distribution, enterprise operations, strategic relationship management, and national sales office. He is also responsible for the marketing and brand teams and the company’s corporate strategy. Prior to his current role, Lambert was senior vice president of MetLife’s Northeast Region for MetLife Premier Client Group (MPCG). He was also responsible for leading MPCG’s proprietary wholesaling organization for annuity, life, and disability insurance.
Before joining MetLife, Lambert served as executive director and business head for the insurance and annuity business at Morgan Stanley. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney. Lambert holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Villanova University, where he currently serves as a member of the Provost’s Board. Lambert also serves on the board of the Insured Retirement Institute and is a frequent contributor to other industry organizations.
