WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Insured Retirement Institute’s (IRI) annual conference will occur September 21-22 and September 28-29 and will provide a forum to present and discuss the industry’s most significant issues.
The conference agenda includes stimulating general sessions highlighting thought leadership on the pivotal issues of the day and focused breakout sessions that deliver more detailed discussion and analysis.
Key subject areas include a legislative and regulatory outlook for the industry, digital transformation to deliver improved customer outcomes, product development and trends, inclusive marketing, the future of wholesaling, and much more.
Additionally, the conference features four keynote speakers offering unique perspectives on leadership, inclusion, technology, and communication.
Jim Donald, Chairman of Albertson’s, former CEO of Starbucks, former CEO of Extended Stay Hotels, and former CEO of Pathmark Supermarkets, will share his thoughts on business leadership in the 21st century. Retired U.S. Army Lieutenant General Nadja West will discuss her views on empathetic leadership. Mark Bowden, a renowned expert on body language, will deliver his insights on using non-verbal cues to communicate more effectively. And best-selling author Erik Qualman will address the traits and habits of digital leadership to drive innovation and deliver winning customer experiences.
“IRI’s conferences are an opportunity for the entire supply chain of the insured retirement industry to gather for a shared experience, engage in discussion and introspection, and examine issues, challenges, and opportunities,” said Wayne Chopus, IRI President and CEO. “We have an impressive lineup of speakers and sessions that promise a robust look at the significant issues facing our industry and will deliver significant value to attendees.”
