WASHINGTON, D.C. – Insured Retirement Institute (IRI) President and CEO Wayne Chopus issued the following statement regarding the U.S. Senate vote to confirm the appointment of Jaime Lizárraga and Mark Uyeda as Commissioners at the U.S. Security and Exchange Commission (SEC).
“On behalf of IRI and our member companies, we congratulate Commissioner Lizárraga and Uyeda on their appointment to the SEC. The Commission has several important issues that demand the attention of a full slate of Commissioners.
