2026 IRI Hackathon

The 2026 IRI Hackathon brought together 80 participants from 38 companies, creating a dynamic environment of cross-industry collaboration and innovation. Participants worked in teams to address seven priority topics focused on advancing seamless, modern, and AI-incorporated digital-first experiences for consumers and financial professionals.

Over the course of the event, teams tackled high-priority challenges aimed at transforming and expanding the impact of annuities in today’s evolving financial landscape. Using AWS tools, participants developed forward-thinking solutions to streamline processes, enhance customer experiences, and reimagine how annuities integrate into the tools financial professionals use every day.
