Christine Leonhardt-Kimm is IRI’s Director of Human Resources responsible for all facets of Human Resources in support of IRI’s mission. Her varied background has been an asset in implementing tools, programs, and data that help organizations function better and achieve greater success. Her signature initiatives have focused on the design and implementation of HRIS, streamlining processes, and workplace culture aimed at optimizing employee engagement.

Christine joined IRI in 2019 and she brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership to IRI. Her experience spans a diverse range of organizations, including nonprofits, consulting, biomedical research, aerospace and defense, airlines, and publicly traded companies.

Her human resources knowledge and experience combined with her strong business acumen allow her to effectively partner with business leaders to align HR initiatives and programs with overall business strategy. Examples include market compensation studies, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding systems, coaching, and the design of HR policies and procedures to support operational efficiencies.

Christine holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from The Catholic University of America and a Master’s degree in Finance from Johns Hopkins University. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management and a certified benefits and compensation professional.  She serves on the board for Doorways for Women and Families in Arlington, VA.

Christine lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, Terry. In her spare time, Christine enjoys playing tennis and golf as well as traveling, reading, and walking.
